We are leaving from Lake Laurie.
So we are taking the Cape May Ferry across to Lewes, Delaware. Then it is only minutes to Ocean City, Maryland.
It is a 26 mile ride across the Delaware Bay. A very comfortable, relaxing ride.

On the deck of the Cape May Ferry.
My husband, John, Ricky and Eric. Dolphins to the right of our and then an hour ride over to Delaware.

Ocean City, Maryland. The
beach is totally different here for they built up the sand to keep the ocean from flooding the homes and shops. So it's
all up hill from the water. It's really steep. Very protective for the people living here but the wave action
is extremely harsh. I didn't enjoy the water here.

Ricky & Eric with a wave hitting.
Usually there are a series of waves, which get bigger and bigger the farther you go out in the ocean. That is not the
case here. It hits right at the beach and the water level can get very deep, fast.

Asseteque Island, where the wild ponies
roam. It is 130 miles to Chicateque Island where the fireman take care of all the wild ponies.
