Welcome to my personal web site! Oh yes, New Jersey the state I was born in, the state I love. The area I
live in, is right across the Delaware river from Philadelphia. The delaware river runs down the whole length of the state.
Philadelpha is a seaport, housing the Philadelphia Navy Yard, at one time right across the way, is Camden, New Jersey. It
was a bustling city back in its day. Big business, stock brokers, shipping companies, hat makers, you name it Camden had
it. When I was a little girl growing up my Mother and I went to Camden every Saturday, we would board the bus, right outside
our door, to Kaign Avenue, where the main shopping began, get off and go immediately in McCrorys, 5& 10. My mother used
to work there before she married my father. McCrory's is a big 5 & 10 with two entrances, one on broadway, the main drag
and one on Kaign Avenue. It had everything, whenever we purchased anything, they used a tube to send the order, I was fascinated
with that tube as a child, my eyes would open big, totally amazed how that thing would send somthing upstairs, and then return
something else right here where you were standing. The powerful sound of the suck... as it went in, you could hear it moving
up, I would get so excited. And the sales girl went right along knowing I was fasinated with this. We would leave the 5 &
10 and proceed up Broadway, going from one store to the next the sidewalks crowed with friendly people, everyone so kind and
courtiest. The men would tip their hat, and the woman smiled. We had the greatest time on our excursion every Saturday.
Memories I will never forget. This went on for over a mile with Federal Street at the end. There were three movie houses
we passed, so many stores, clothes for all. The seafood store, where I held my nose until we got by. The subway was just
before hitting Federal Street, we would return back there later to catch our bus. The subway, is underground of course, which
took you to Philadelphia. We stayed on top where the bus stop was.

Here you'll learn all about me: My interests and hobbies,
the people in my family, my pets, and more. As a child growing up, I went to Catholic school until 8th. grade. Sacred Heart
Catholic school was one of the best. I had to go by public bus, it was too far to walk. We had a bus driver named Whitie,
he was the best. He always took care of us kids even if we lost our bus ticket. Parochial school was strict, but fair.
All of the nuns were saintly. Couldn't figure out how they could wear those long black habits in the hot summertime. Graduated
from there wanted to go to Gloucester Catholic, but the school was too crowed, would only take new admission if they had brothers
or sisters going there. Not my luck, so attended Gloucester High School, wow, what a difference after a strict Catholic grade
school. My first home room teacher was Mr. Funk, you can imagine the kidding he took with that name. Good looking man, he
was also coach, gym teacher for boys and the driving instructor. Our homeroom was on the 4th. floor a little room, extremely
outdated, with bleachers for seats. The kids were roudy, not being used to that. I looked like a goody two shoes. As I
would stand when the teacher came in the room, stand when spoken too. Always, answer Yes, Mr. Funk, well the class roared.
They never saw anything like that. To me it was normal, that's what we did for 8 years at Parochial school, but that did
stop the habit. I had to learn how to act like the other kids, fast, real fast. Can laugh about it now, but it was not funny
then. Gym class was another tricky one for me, laughing now. I was embarrassed to dress and undress amongst other students,
nevering having to do that before, made me extremely uncomfortable. Well gym class was neat, I joined the bad girls, te,
he. We would sneak behind a bush and smoke ciggeretts, our gym teacher never even missed us, lol. Played hooky with my cousin,
she lived in the city. She got caught, I didn't, the trauant officer thought I was too nice to do that, Ah Ha!, what they
didn't know, didn't hurt them, but that freshman year was a disaster, my report card was showing, C's, D's and failing. Had
to change that, wow,now to get out of this mess. Being cool was not the best for me. School continued on and I graduated,
being friendly but not belonging to any groups or clicks as we called them back then. I graduated from high school and went
on to work.

The beginning of my adult life, gone the days of carefree fun, where school was the main
responsibility. I started my first job at Food Fair Stores, I worked as a meat wrapper. It was hard work, but the pay was
good. Worked for another two years, then we decided to get married and start our own familiy. We had a beautiful wedding
in the church that I grew up in. We stayed at two different apartments, then purchased our home. My first son was a little
over two years old. A beautiful Cape Cod with plenty of room, large Italion kitchen, fenced in yard, finished recreation
room in the basement. An ideal place to raise our children. A little over a year later, Ricky was born, with Cystic Fibrosis.
I tell the story on my website titled: Healed & Whole. You can click on the lady at the fence to take you there. The
back button to bring you back here. Immediately after his death, I had taken in a beautiful foster child, his mother was
ill and needed someone to take care of her son for a year. In the meantime,I wanted desparately to get pregnant again, which
I did. Johnny & Mario were great friends. We went often to see the nuns at Newberg, New Jersey. Since I lost my last
baby to Cystic Fibrosis, they all gathered around me and prayed that this one would be healthy. At the end of my pregnancy,
Mario was ready to go home with his mother. A mother and father who loved him so, it was so easy to let him go to a loving
home. I felt honored that I could help. Shortly after my third son was born, healthy. Thank God, we were truly blessed.
We were absolutely delighted, so grateful, for we believe it was all the prayers for us that created this perfect child.
Ron was born naturally, no drugs due to the problem with Cystic Fibrosis. What a joy, what a delight, I nursed him, he grew
larger by the month. Our family was now complete. Johnny and Ronny were four years apart. They were both beautiful children,
as different as night and day. My joy was teaching them to grow, reading to them, building snowmen and igloo's in the winter
snow. Johnny started school, I went back to work on a part time basis as a Medical Assistant and worked my way up to Physicians
Assistant. This took many years but a job that I loved. My family was complete.

Now my family is grown and out on their own. Both sons have done well in life, they took their schooling seriously,
Ron, went into the Marines for 4 years, they both are Electrical Engineers. So I feel so content and blessed that they will
not have to struggle financially. I pray that they are well rounded people who love life and take time to smell the roses.
Then I will be truly blessed, having suceeded with my goal in life. AAAhhhhhhhh!
Now its time for me, my job is complete.

One of the adventures my family and I enjoy is hiking the Appalachian Trail. We started out in New Jersey, which
I will include a link so you can see what I am talking about. Having boys, even though I am very feminine, led me to camping,
hiking, and doing things I know I would have never done if I had only girls. We hiked most of New Jersey, Vermont, West Virginia,
some of the Smokies. The most exciting adventure I ever experienced. The view is breath takingly beautiful. A little tough
climbing the mountain for when I started I was out of shape. In the beginning I only hike 5 miles then later increased it
to 8 mile per day. Starting at first light, dawn and trying to end before dark. Calculating the length of the trail we were
going to do, was, a major math project. Noting where the trail went and the upcline up and the dangers coming down was always
put into consideration before the hike. Allowing for weather conditions, and the necessary food and water to sustain our trip.
One time, it rained, I was not totally prepared. The rain had wicked down my neck and into my clothing causing a terrible
chill. Nightfall came early and we could not see one step in front of us. Our flashlight was practically useless. We had gotten
lost coming down the mountain. My son had gone ahead of us and realized we were taking too long. He put on the car lights
high beam, beeping the horn periodiactly, it was that sound which led us to saftey, then as we got closer the lights. You
wouldn't believe the prayers that were being said. This could have been disasterous, we never did that again, we learned to
keep dry and to end our excursion before night fall. Always sign in at the rangers station, sign the trail book, so some one
will know you are in the area. Always leave that information with someone responsible at home. Above all, have a safe trip.
There are trails to be taken by the beginner and the experienced alike. So there is something for everyone. It is an awesome
experience, one you will never forget. Try it sometime but do it safely

This is what
it looks like on top of the mountain. Just totally awesome view's. Some are even more awesome than other's.
Absolutely, breath taking. On the way up from Delaware Water Gap which is in Pennsylvania is a babbling brook.
What a refreshing sound as you trek your way up. At the top is the beginning stream, it looked clean enough to take
a little drink, which shouldn't be done but I did, with no harm. We rested a while before we continued on to Sunfish
pond. A landmark on this particular trail. A glacial lake where hiker usually take a swim to cool off in the summer
time. It is 2 1/2 miles from the beginning until Sunfish pond. A nice trek for day hikers.

The Ledge, this is on a clear day. Some
days, you are not that fornunate. Some day's it even rained. Some day's, you even walked through a cloud.
You can really feel that spiritual connection to something greater than yourself. It is an amazing experience, one I
am so glad, I had the chance to do. This part of the trail is only for the experienced but if you go to
or the Smoky Mountains, the road is right on top of the mountain, with the trail nearby. You can experiece the same
feeling if you are not able to hike it.
"My Garden"

Now that I am older, hmmmmmmm
! Hate that word, my mind doesn't feel it but my body does. Gardening is my latest hobby. In my home I try
to create a feeling of comfort, ambience. My back yard is filled with flowers. In one corner, I created a perrenial
garden. This year I want to do another on the other side. The sides are filled with large smooth stones, with
the addition of large rocks which we have collected from every place we have visited. Each rock has its own story and
beautiful memories. In that same area, I have beautiful rose bushes, flowering shrubs. On my deck,
I have large potted flowers everywhere. Bright, extremely comfortable chairs, nice picnic table with large umbrella.
Of course in the very center in the back a nice big Pin Oak tree, which gives me shade in the summer time. Ahhhhhhhhh
! Just a little bit of heaven in my own surroundings.

Just a casual picture taken in
front of our home. My oldest son, John, came over to get a picture of the remaining tree. The one on the other
side was just cut down. They are swamp maple's and roots stretch everywhere. The other one was getting dangerously
big. I do like tree's in front of the house, they keep it cool in summer time.

My latest quest is to quit smoking.
I have smoked since I was 14 years old. Smoked every day, as soon as I woke up til I closed my eye's at night.
Well, smoking has taken a toll on my health. For the past three years, it has been hard to get around. My legs
keep freezing. Most of it is due to a bad reaction to Dynazirc, a heart medication. The rest is due to smoking.
My breathing has become labored with any kind of exertion. I can't stand being immobile, I feel like I am a prisoner
in my own home. The only conclusion if I want quality of life back is to quit smoking.
It has been .......50 DAYS SMOKE
FREE......Hooray ! My breathing has improved, my sence of smell, taste is much sharper. I am on the
nicotine patch this time. You see I have tried to quit several times without much sucess. The longest I lasted
was 3 months. They say, that was only "practice" for the real quit. Lol, well there is no more practice, I must do it
this time. I want to regain, my health back. I want to live, again.

|
Hooray ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Your getting healthier............. |
It has been 94 days, SMOKE FREE
! I would have spent over $1,000.00 on ciggeretts. I used the patch this time which has helped me immensely.
I can breathe easier. My legs which were frozen by Dynacirc, which is an allergic problem in my case. Is finally
starting to rise up into the upper circulatory region. Benefits......I can breath easier, smell everything, peweeeeeeeeeeeee
sometimes, lol. Tasting food is a pleasure, not smelling like a just walked out of a bon fire, feels good. My
goal is to get healthy all the way around, eating, living, thinking, etc. I want to ride my bike for miles again, I
want to walk and not have to stop because my legs won't go anymore, or go up a hill without getting out of breath. It's
all coming, little by little.......My body has been fed this poisen for many, many years, So, it will take time to correct
that and improve the situation. I know I have added years on to my life which is exciting, for now I will be able to
grow with my grandchildren and join them in a lot of their activities.

This is my 1993 GMC Jimmy, we
had this car in our life for 15 years. It has treated us good. In great shape, runs good but rattles and squeeks
like ----. Had to put it in here for we've had it for so long. Not bad looking for 15 years old...

Well needless to say, after a
year smoke free, I picked up smoking again. Well the big thing for me is to improve my health. So in November,
I will quit smoking again. My goal is improve my life all around. I can walk a little better now. So I am
going to extend my walking ability, by walking a little farther. Turning 65, this December, Medicare is my bonus.
Wow!!! Didn't know I had to pay for it. So that's where I am now. I did kayak in the harbor near Stone Harbor.
Just going to keep doing things to get my strength back. Wish me luck, rather say some prayers for me. I need
them.
